Moving On...
Yep, it's that time. I'm saying goodbye to Sugar Snap Scraps and starting a new blog to go with my new business. I will still be posting freebies and layouts and all of the usual stuff, so I hope that you will join me there! (I am still leaving all of my freebie links active, so they're here if you need them.)
Here's the link! Come see me and read about my Grand Opening at Ellie Lash Designs!
Hope to see you there!

Finally... A Freebie!
I know, I know, I have been so bad about getting freebies out lately, but you know how life gets sometimes. I did manage to sit down and put together a quick page made from my Waiamea kit. I hope you are able to use it!

Adorable New Blinkie (Oh Yeah, And Some News)
First of all, I had to show off my new blinkie. I fell in love with it the second I saw it! My lovely friend Flergs (yeah, I know you know her! lol) made it for me and I am SOOOO pleased with it! I mean, come on, is it not adorable??? (Thanks heaps, Megs!)

And I've decided to just go ahead and spill the beans... I am opening my own store! Hopefully by the start of February. December was SUCH a chaotic month for me, I seriously couldn't even think straight with being sick and the kids being sick, and the holidays and BLAH... just everything. Anyway, like I mentioned before, I had decided to stop selling and take a break for a while so I could concentrate on my kids.
I don't want to go into the long and drawn out details of everything that went on in my head over the past few weeks, but I decided to open my store for myself and I decided to stay at Scrap Matters as well. (Thank you, Andrea, for convincing me to stay even when I was adamant about leaving.) I love, love, love Scraphead and probably should have stayed there as well, but I guess it was for the best since I have been so busy and will only be busier as time goes on.
Also, THANK YOU to all of you who sent prayers and well wishes for Adam. He has been fever-free for over three weeks and we are hopeful that his episodes will occur less and less (or maybe not at all???)!
My new site isn't quite ready yet, but I did have Grace Bennet set everything up for me and she did a super fab job. I cannot wait to open and show you all. I will also be starting a new blog and saying goodbye to Sugar Snap Scraps. Sad, but true! But you will like my new blog, I promise!
And lastly (I know, I'm long winded tonight!) my brand new kit, Waiamea, is on sale for 20% off at Scrap Matters... CLICK! That's the kit Flergs used to make my new blinkie! Woo hoo! lol
Okay, well, I'm off to do a little designing before bed. If you've read all of this, I thank you!
Have a great night!

I Won! I Won!
Okay, we ALL won. lol I entered that challenge over at Mrs. Wresh's blog (along with three others) and we all got a prize. Aren't these adorable???

I can't wait to use them. Back in December I bought one of Shabby Princess's mint tin kits and made Christmas presents for a few people and they turned out really REALLY cute, so I am anxious to put these to use as well! And can I just say that Mrs. Wresh is one of the sweetest people ever? What a nice lady, truly.
I also have a new kit coming out soon. My son has been doing wonderfully and I have actually found some time to design. Yippee! This should be in the store soon and I will have a related freebie here on my blog in a few days, so check back for it if you're interested! (Not everything is shown in the preview!)

You may have noticed that my packaging has changed. That's just one of the changes I'm making! I'll have an announcement sometime later this moth, so look for that!
Hope you're having a great week!

Seventeen and Some Freebie News
Mrs. Wresh is hosting a challenge over at her blog and I decided to enter. I am very insecure about my scrapping skills, so I don't usually post my layouts publicly, but I really liked her idea and wanted to enter. So I thought I'd show you all, too.

Frames by Nancy Comelab, everything else by Flergs.

So this is me at 17-ish. It was harder for me than I thought it would be, but I guess that's why it's called a "challenge" huh? lol The challenge ends tomorrow, so if you want to enter, hurry over there. The prize is some of Mrs. Wresh's mint tin templates! They are so cute!
Oh, I also keep meaning to mention that the freebie collab girls who brought you Whimsical Wonderland are back at it again! We will have a super sweet Valentine's kit coming out sometime in the first half of February (we haven't decided on a date yet). I have seen some of the stuff already and it's all gorgeous! You won't be disappointed! So spread the word, another great freebie is coming your way soon!
Thanks for stopping by!

OMGosh... Their First Fight!
My boys are almost 16 months old and they just had their first fight today. It totally threw me for a loop, too! Normally they get along great. Even when one of them steals a toy from the other (or something like that) there will be crying and a tug-o-war before I can break it up, but not like today. I didn't know whether to laugh or yell at them. And being a scrapper, my first reaction was to grab the camera (but I didn't). lol They were playing on my bed facing each other and babbling. Then the next thing I know they are both screaming, rolling on the bed, with handfuls of each others hair and arms and legs flailing! What on earth??? lol
Needless to say, it was forgotten five seconds after I pulled them apart, and now they are chasing each other around the living room squealing and laughing. Kids are so funny, aren't they? lol

The Saga Continues (And A Freebie)!
So... a couple of nights ago our landlady dropped by again. When I saw it was her I was afraid she was going to tell us we had even less time to move out, which I really would have balked at since we already paid January's rent! But she told us that she felt bad about forcing us out with such little notice and said we could stay. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lets just say that after she left my husband and I had a very long conversation about what to do! We decided to tell her that we are leaving at the end of February. We both really want to move now, however a month more will give us some extra time to get more money together. We were really worried because it was right after Christmas and things are a bit tight around here, so waiting an extra month will give us time to save up a little more to make the move easier. But we aren't sticking around longer than that because I can just see her pulling the same thing next month.
Annnnnywayyyyy... that gives me a little time to relax! I have a couple of things in the works right now so I was able to give them a little bit of attention today. I can't wait to announce what's going on! Big changes for me this year!
I also did a little designing! I've seen a bunch of different sets of wings (like butterfly and fairy type) around and I decided to give them a try and put my own spin on them. I'm not sure I like them enough to make a whole set of them, but I think they turned out kind of pretty. I made a couple for you. What do you think?
